Becoming a driving instructor can be a life-changing career move, which is why it’s important to choose the right course for you. Our courses are flexible and we can tailor a course to fit round you, whether it be a current job or other commitments.
All your professional driver training is carried out by Lynne Fitzharris a former DVSA Assistant Chief Driving Examiner.
Designed and delivered by DVSA Grade “A” ORDIT – qualified experienced trainer. Our bespoke course is based around a culture of Client Centred Learning (CCL), utilising the latest interactive techniques, this is why our driver training is structured to suit your individual needs.
Lynne was responsible for the design of the New Standards Check, she also carried out the training and development to all ADI – DVSA examiners across the country. This training was carried out at DVSA’s Training & Development Centre at Cardington, Bedfordshire. This bespoke training equipped all DVSA examiners with the skills to assess both the ADI Part 3 Test and Standards Check.
There are over 40,000 ADI’s on the register and DVSA conduct over 12,000 Standards Checks per year. Lynne’s area of responsibility was to ensure DVSA examiners delivered a consistent and uniform test built around the new Standards Check. Lynne also was responsible for carrying out Standards Checks on those ADI’s who, on two previous attempts had failed, (3rd and final).
